Biography
Haruka to Miyuki (ハルカトミユキ) is a Japanese folk rock duo under Sony Music Associated Records. The pair first met in 2008 at the Rikkyo University music club, where they discovered their shared musical interests and decided to work together.
As a folk rock act, Haruka to Miyuki are associated with a sound shaped by close collaboration and the expressive qualities often linked to the genre. Their identity as a duo gives their music a direct, personal character that fits well within Japan’s broader singer-songwriter and indie-oriented scene.
On November 14, 2012, they released their first indie mini-album, Kyogensha ga Yoake wo Tsugeru. Bokutachi ga Itsumademo Damatte Iru to Omou na. That debut marked the start of their recorded career and introduced listeners to the duo’s early artistic direction.
