Inazuma Eleven

Inazuma Eleven centers on Raimon Middle School’s soccer club at the moment it is close to being disbanded, even as schools across Japan battle for the title of the country’s strongest team. At the heart of the story is Mamoru Endou, the grandson of the club’s first-generation goalkeeper and captain, who refuses to let Raimon’s long-neglected team disappear. Driven by determination, optimism, and the weight of his family legacy, he commits himself to rebuilding the club from the ground up and giving it a real chance to reach the national stage. That goal is far from simple. Mamoru has to persuade talented players to believe in Raimon before anyone else will, because raw ability alone will not be enough to save the club. One of the most important names in that effort is Shuuya Gouenji, a brilliant young player who has given up on soccer. Mamoru is determined to bring Shuuya and other new recruits into the team no matter what it takes, even when the club is struggling to recover its strength and sense of identity. Across that struggle, Inazuma Eleven builds a story about persistence, trust, and the hope that a small, overlooked team can rise again if its players are willing to fight for one another.
