Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku! follows Hayate Ayasaki, a boy whose life seems ruled by Murphy's Law from the moment his parents abandon him with a debt of over one hundred fifty million yen. Sold off to the yakuza and desperate to escape a future he does not want, he runs into Nagi Sanzenin on a fateful night and decides to kidnap her in order to pay for his family's massive debt. Instead, his kind-hearted nature and a string of misunderstandings turn the situation upside down, and Nagi comes to believe that Hayate is confessing his love to her. After he saves her from real kidnappers, Hayate is hired as Nagi's personal butler and discovers that she belongs to one of the wealthiest families in Japan. From that point on, the series turns Hayate's terrible luck into the engine of its comedy. He is highly skilled, but every day at the Sanzenin mansion seems to lead to fresh disasters, from keeping the household running to fending off dangerous foes. Even when he is doing his best to serve his employer, Hayate keeps stumbling into chaos and unintentionally drawing the attention of the women around him. Hayate no Gotoku! is a fast-moving butler comedy about endurance, misunderstanding, and surviving the next misfortune before it arrives.
