Diamond no Ace

Diamond no Ace follows Eijun Sawamura, a hot-blooded pitcher whose final middle school game ends in frustration when a stray pitch misses the batter and leaves him with unfinished business. After he and his teammates vow to reach the national tournament in high school, that promise takes a new shape when a scout notices the potential in his unusual pitching style and invites him to Tokyo’s prestigious Seidou High School. Encouraged by those around him, Eijun accepts, stepping into a baseball program where every practice is a test and every game demands more than he has ever given before. At Seidou, Eijun is surrounded by gifted players and must fight for every chance to prove himself. He boldly declares that he will become the team’s ace, but fellow first year Satoru Furuya, with his breakneck fastballs and coveted spot on the starting roster, stands in his way from the start. Catcher Kazuya Miyuki and teammate Haruichi Kominato are part of the demanding environment that shapes Seidou’s new generation as it joins an already powerful lineup. As the club pushes to become the best in Japan, Eijun’s growth is measured through fierce internal competition and clashes with formidable rivals such as Mei Narumiya and Raichi Todoroki.
