Ajin

Ajin unfolds in a world where immortal humans known as Ajin first emerged 17 years ago in Africa. Because they cannot be killed and are feared as potential weapons, societies around the world treat them as dangerous nonhumans, and any Ajin discovered in public is swiftly arrested and taken into custody. High school student Kei Nagai has spent his days studying to become a doctor, knowing only the version of Ajin history taught in class and glimpsed through news reports. That distance disappears the moment he survives an accident that should have killed him, revealing that he has become an Ajin himself. Suddenly hunted by the authorities and abandoned by the world around him, Kei must learn how his new body works while struggling to stay alive. As he runs, he begins to realize that he may not be the only one hiding this secret, and that other Ajin are living far closer to him than he ever imagined.
