We Are!

"We Are!" (ウィーアー!) is performed by Hiroshi Kitadani and was used as the first opening theme of the 1999 TV anime One Piece (ワンピース), produced by Toei Animation. The song was released in 1999 as Kitadani's debut single.

Shoko Fujibayashi wrote the lyrics, Kohei Tanaka composed the music, and Akira Senju arranged it. Nippon Columbia released the single on November 20, 1999. Later One Piece versions included "ウィーアー!〜7人の麦わら海賊団篇〜" by the Straw Hat Pirates cast and "ウィーアー! for the new world," a re-recording associated with Kitadani.
