The Real Folk Blues

"The Real Folk Blues" is performed by The Seatbelts featuring Mai Yamane and was used as the first ending theme for the 1998 anime television series Cowboy Bebop (カウボーイビバップ), produced by Sunrise and Bones.

Yoko Kanno composed and arranged the song, and wrote the lyrics with Mai Yamane. The track appeared on the 1998 soundtrack album Cowboy Bebop OST 1, released by Victor Entertainment, and a later version, "The Real Folk Blues no. 12," was included on the 1999 soundtrack album Blue.
