Rewrite

"Rewrite" is a 2004 single by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, used as the opening theme for Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師), the 2003 anime produced by Bones.

The song was later included on the band's album Sol-fa, released in June 2004. Built around energetic guitar riffs and introspective lyrics, it reflects the group's alternative rock style. Composed by vocalist and guitarist Masafumi Gotoh, "Rewrite" reached No. 5 on the Oricon Singles Chart in Japan.
