Makura Kouji (枕小路 )

Makura Kouji is the fourth ending theme for Mushishi (Mushi-Shi), the 2005 Artland television anime adaptation of Yuki Urushibara’s manga. Composed by Toshio Masuda, the piece is credited as a J-pop track and combines traditional Japanese musical elements with contemporary acoustic instrumentation. It was used as ED4 during the series’ original broadcast and reflects Masuda’s wider reputation for anime soundtrack work, particularly his music for Mushishi.
