Ano Hi no Kawa

"Ano Hi no Kawa" (あの日の川), commonly known in English as "The Day of the River," is an instrumental piece by Joe Hisaishi from Studio Ghibli's 2001 film Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi).

Hisaishi composed the music for Spirited Away, including "Ano Hi no Kawa". The piece appears on the film's official 2001 soundtrack album, and music from the film had also been presented earlier on a separate image album. In the film's music lineup, the vocal ending theme is "Itsumo Nando Demo" performed by Youmi Kimura.
