Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi follows 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino, a stubborn, spoiled, and naïve girl who is far from pleased when she and her parents discover an abandoned amusement park on the way to their new house. What begins as cautious curiosity soon turns unsettling as dusk falls and the empty park reveals ghostly apparitions, strange rules, and food that turns her parents into pigs. In a moment, Chihiro is pulled across the boundary into the spirit world, a place that feels both enchanting and dangerous.
Alone in that unfamiliar realm, Chihiro must find the courage to survive by working among spirits and learning how to navigate a world she does not understand. With the help of the enigmatic Haku and the cast of unique characters she meets along the way, she struggles to protect her parents, endure the strange demands of her new surroundings, and find a path back home. As her ordeal continues, the spirit world tests her resolve, pushing her to grow from an anxious child into someone who can face fear without losing compassion.
