"BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS -Ver. EJECTED-" is the first opening theme of the 2014 television anime Gokukoku no Brynhildr, also known as Brynhildr in the Darkness and 極黒のブリュンヒルデ. The song was performed by Risa Taneda in character as Nao Tokisawa (鴇沢直) for the Arms-produced series.

VAP released it in Japan on 30 April 2014 on the single "BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS -Ver. EJECTED- / innocent promise," which paired the opening with the ending theme "innocent promise." NAGAE wrote the lyrics, and Yasushi Ishii composed and arranged the song. A TV-size version later appeared on the album 極黒のブリュンヒルデ オリジナル・サウンドトラック.
