You Izumi (和泉容, born 7 September 1968) is a Japanese singer in the pop rock field. After moving to Tokyo to pursue a music career, she was discovered by a producer and made her major-label debut on Teichiku Entertainment, Inc. in 1994 under the name Be-B with the single 「真夏の愛YAIYAI!」.
Her second single, 「憧夢〜風に向かって〜」, marked a shift toward rock and J-pop. It served as the theme for the TBS drama 『毎度ゴメンなさぁい』, sold about 600,000 copies, reached No. 10 on Oricon, and won newcomer prizes at the 36th Japan Record Awards and the Japan Gold Disc Awards. During the 1990s she released 11 singles, 3 albums, and 2 best albums as Be-B. All 13 singles released as Be-B/和泉容 received television tie-ins. She also performed 「Dame! (ダメ！)」, the ending theme for 「Rurouni Kenshin」.
In 1997 she moved to WEA and changed her stage name to You Izumi, releasing 2 singles and 1 album under that name. After suspending activities in 1999, she returned as Be-B in 2003 with the independent album 『Medium』, produced by 佐藤宣彦, and later continued live work under the name Be-B（和泉容）.
From around 2016 she expanded her work as a nagashi singer and, despite a break during the COVID-19 pandemic, remained active in live and street performance, mainly in 新宿ゴールデン街 as of 2024. Her official website is http://be-b.info/, and her name appears in both romanized and Japanese form as You Izumi and 和泉容.
