Tei

Tei is a South Korean singer best known for Korean ballad, and his music also reaches anime audiences through his 2025 opening song for Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon. Born Kim Ho-kyung on April 4, 1983, in Ulsan, South Korea, he built his career around emotional vocals and a ballad-driven style rather than idol pop, which has defined his public image and musical identity. In 2025, Tei became a notable anime-music search result when Crunchyroll covered his contribution to Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, first in the main trailer preview and later in the music video release for the opening song. For listeners looking for a Korean ballad singer with an anime opening credit, Tei stands out as a relevant name from South Korea.
