Taichi Mukai

Taichi Mukai is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Fukuoka, born on March 13, 1992. Since debuting in the 2010s, he has built a catalog shaped by contemporary R&B, J-pop, and singer-songwriter sensibilities, with songs that often balance polished production, melody, groove, and emotional clarity. Known for a smooth vocal style and a sound that sits between urban R&B and accessible Japanese pop, Mukai has remained a distinct presence among Japan’s contemporary male solo artists. Recent releases such as "Eyes on you" and "404" have continued that momentum, while the single "End Roll" marked his 10th debut anniversary. He also appeared on Sam is Ohm’s "Just Us (feat. 向井太一 ＆ IBUKI)," reinforcing his continued activity as a versatile vocalist and songwriter.
