tacica is a Japanese rock band from Sapporo, formed in April 2005. The lineup featured Igarashi Youichi on vocals and guitar, Konishi Yuuta on bass, and Sakai Toshihiko on drums. Sakai Toshihiko left the band in 2014. Across their career, tacica has incorporated elements of J-rock and post-rock while keeping an emotional, atmospheric style. In anime, the band has contributed opening themes to Canaan and Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. Over the years, tacica has released several albums and singles.
