Suiyoubi no Campanella (水曜日のカンパネラ)

Suiyoubi no Campanella is a Japanese electronic band formed in 2012 and based in Shibuya, Tokyo. Blending EDM, J-pop, and pop, the project is known for pairing electronic arrangements with visual storytelling, playful performance, and a theatrical style that makes it immediately recognizable in the modern Japanese music scene. Its songs balance experimental textures with accessible melodies, giving the group a profile that sits between mainstream pop and more adventurous electronic production. The project has included KOM_I, Dir.F, Kenmochi Hidefumi, and Utaha. KOM_I served as the lead vocalist until her departure in September 2021, after which Utaha took over vocal duties, marking a major transition in the band’s history. Suiyoubi no Campanella has continued under that lineup change while preserving its experimental identity, and it has also released music through Warner Bros. Records. The group is notable for its anime soundtrack work as well, which has strengthened its presence in anison and made it a familiar name for listeners searching for anime-connected Japanese music. Its later period has also included a first Nippon Budokan performance, from which it released live footage of "Shakushain".
