Satoru Kosaki

Satoru Kōsaki (神前暁, born 16 September 1974) is a Japanese composer, arranger and music producer from Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, and a member of the music production company MONACA. After graduating from Kyoto University he joined Namco as a sound creator, working on titles such as the Tekken series and Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan, and in 2005 he left to join MONACA, the company founded by his former Namco colleague Keiichi Okabe. He drew wide attention with his music for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and "Motteke! Sailor Fuku", the opening he wrote for Lucky Star, reached No. 2 on the Oricon chart, his highest placing. He has scored the Monogatari series, including the Kizumonogatari films, as well as Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-, where he also composed and arranged the opening "Sing My Pleasure" and "Fluorite Eye's Song", whose piano version served as the ending of episodes 1 to 12.
