Sakurazaka46

Sakurazaka46 is a Japanese all-female idol group signed to Sony Music Records and one of the flagship acts in the Sakamichi Series produced by Yasushi Akimoto. Formed in 2015 as Nogizaka46's first sister group, the act began as Keyakizaka46. It was renamed Sakurazaka46 in 2020 after ending activities under the former name on October 13 of that year. As Keyakizaka46, the group made its single debut with "サイレントマジョリティー" in April 2016. It then reached No. 1 on the Oricon singles chart with eight consecutive singles through "黒い羊". Its identity is built around J-pop production, synchronized choreography, its visual image, and a performance-driven style centered on ensemble presentation. The music often pairs bright melodies with dramatic arrangements, while the stage work emphasizes movement and atmosphere as much as melody. In anime music, the group performed "What's \"KAZOKU\"?", the opening theme of Yozakura Quartet. Under its current name, Sakurazaka46 released its first single, "Nobody's fault", in December 2020.
