Formed in July 2001, The Rodeo Carburettor is a Japanese three-piece rock band whose lineup included 鍛治毅. In 2005, the band made its major-label debut on Epic Records Japan. That same year, it appeared at the UK music showcase IN THE CITY alongside DMBQ and PE'Z. The band also performed "Speed of Flow," the ending theme for Gintama. In 2006, it took part in SXSW 2006 and joined the US tour series JAPAN NITE with ELLEGARDEN, STANCE PUNKS, and PE'Z, before returning to IN THE CITY later that year. The Rodeo Carburettor went on hiatus after its November 26, 2010 live at Shimokitazawa SHELTER.
