RIZE is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 1997. Fronted by Jesse McFaddin, the group has also included Nobuaki Kaneko, KenKen, and Tokie among its members. Signed to Epic Records Japan, RIZE developed an alternative rock sound that blends rock with punk, hip-hop, funk, and reggae. Their material moves between aggressive tracks and more rhythm-focused songs, while heavy guitar work and groove-driven rhythms remain central to that alternative rock identity. In anime, RIZE performed "SILVER," the opening theme for Gintama.
