REVALCY is a Japanese two-person vocal unit consisting of Takeshi and Takumi. The duo’s name is a made-up word that changed from "reversi," giving the group a distinctive identity from the start.
Raised with a background in classical music through their parents, Takeshi and Takumi developed a habit of singing in harmony from a young age. That shared musical foundation became central to the unit’s sound, which is shaped by close vocal balance and a natural sibling chemistry.
Before fully pursuing music, both Takeshi and Takumi were involved in sports. Their path toward a professional music career changed when Takeshi was injured, leading him to invite his younger brother Takumi to officially move into music with him. That turning point marked the beginning of REVALCY as a formal duo.
