Reol (れをる), born Kasumi Seki on November 9, 1993, in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese composer, utaite, and solo artist whose work combines online vocal performance, songwriting, and music production. Emerging from Japan's internet music scene, Reol first gained attention through the digital culture of posting covers and original songs online, a background that still helps define the artist's identity and appeal.
In 2015, Reol formed the unit RΞOL with GigaP and Okiku, bringing together composition, production, and performance in a collaborative project that became a major part of the artist's early career. The group played its final live show in October 2017 and later disbanded after creative differences, but the project remains one of the defining chapters in Reol's history.
