Paledusk

Paledusk is a Japanese rock band from Fukuoka Prefecture. The group first came together at the end of 2014, and Kaito formed the band in 2015. Its music combines metalcore with electronic music, hip-hop, and experimental rock. Across its work, the band uses sharp rhythmic changes, aggressive vocals, melodic hooks, and production that often shifts between intensity and atmosphere. From its early releases onward, Paledusk has favored experimentation over a fixed formula, and its discography has developed from heavier roots toward a broader, more progressive and eclectic direction. After appearing as a support act at PERIPHERY's Japan show on February 22, the band released the EP "War Declaration" on April 5, 2017. Daisuke joined in September 2017. On November 20, 2018, bassist John left; Ash took over from the band's December shows and remained until leaving in December 2019. During this period, Paledusk also played all dates of POLARIS's "SPRING JAPAN TOUR 2019" in Japan. In January 2021, the band signed with Avocado Bookings for Europe and the UK. It then toured Australia in June 2022 with Alpha wolf, Fit For A King, and Great American Ghost. After Kazuki left on November 20, 2022 and Seiya became a support member on drums, Paledusk appeared at KNOTFEST JAPAN 2023 and released "I'm ready to die for my friends feat. VIGORMAN" in April 2023. Later, it performed "HUGs," the opening theme of "Gachiakuta". In 2025, Paledusk appeared as a guest act on "ONE OK ROCK DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025" at 日産スタジアム and performed "C.U.R.I.O.S.I.T.Y." with ONE OK ROCK and CHICO CARLITO.
