OneRepublic

OneRepublic is an American pop rock band from Colorado Springs, Colorado, led by singer, songwriter and producer Ryan Tedder. Tedder and Zach Filkins first played together in Colorado Springs in the 1990s. In 2002 they reunited in Los Angeles as Republic and, after signing with Columbia Records, adopted the name OneRepublic; the group was formed as OneRepublic in 2004. Over time, its lineup came to include Tedder, Filkins, Eddie Fisher, Brent Kutzle, Drew Brown and Brian Willett. Its music combines pop rock with pop and folk pop. Shortly before the release of its first album, Columbia Records dropped the band. After building an audience through MySpace, OneRepublic signed with Timbaland's Mosley Music Group. In 2007 it released its debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, and "Apologize" became an international hit after Timbaland's remix. Singles such as "Stop and Stare", "All the Right Moves", "Secrets", "Good Life" and "Counting Stars" followed. Later, the band contributed the ending themes "Nobody" and, in 2025, "Beautiful Colors" to "Kaijuu 8-gou".
