Nothing's Carved In Stone

Nothing's Carved In Stone is a Japanese rock band formed in 2009 by Taku Muramatsu on vocals and guitar, Shinichi Ubukata on guitar, Hidekazu Hinata on bass, and Takanori Ohkita on drums. The band took shape after ELLEGARDEN went on hiatus: Ubukata began session work with Hinata and Ohkita, and Muramatsu later joined as vocalist. Nothing's Carved In Stone released its debut album, PARALLEL LIVES, in 2009, and has also been associated with Epic Records Japan. The members' backgrounds in ELLEGARDEN, STRAIGHTENER, FULLARMOR, and ABSTRACT MASH shaped the group's songwriting and performance. The band also contributed songs to anime, including "Out of Control" for Psycho-Pass, "Spirit Inspiration" for Zetsuen no Tempest, and "Pride" for Kingdom.
