Nothing's Carved In Stone

Nothing's Carved in Stone is a Japanese rock group known as Japan's leading proficient rock band, celebrated for their overwhelming performance skills. The band formed when guitarist Shinichi Ubukata (ex-ELLEGARDEN) sought to collaborate with bassist Hidekazu Hinata from STRAIGHTENER after ELLEGARDEN went on hiatus in September 2008. Drummer Takanori Ohkita from FULLARMAR joined the band through Hidekazu's introduction, and they began sessions without a vocalist. Shinichi became interested in Taku Muramatsu from the band ABSTRACTMASH after discovering him on MySpace and attended one of his live performances with Takanori. They were captivated by Taku's talent. Their debut album “PARALLEL LIVES” was released in 2009.
