Misokkasu was a Japanese five-piece rock and J-pop band formed in July 2008 and associated with Avex Trax. The group began performing in Nagoya live houses. It was led by Destroy Harukichi on vocals and guitar, with Noveril on guitar and chorus, Blueman Fujii on bass and chorus, Michel THE Dream on keyboards, and Jambore Katou on drums and chorus. In 2013, the band earned a place on the Tokyo bill of SUMMER SONIC 2013 through an award in an audition project connected to the festival.
On January 1, 2014, the band changed its name to ミソッカス, then returned to みそっかす on July 9, 2017. Its major debut single, "Rising Rainbow (ライジングレインボウ)", was released on September 16, 2015 and served as the opening theme for Shokugeki no Souma. Misokkasu announced its breakup on December 27, 2019, and disbanded after a one-man live at CLUB UPSET in Aichi on February 16, 2020.
