MEminor (ミーマイナー)

MEminor (ミーマイナー) is a Japanese mixed-gender rock band formed on September 19, 2024. It began as a self-produced unit created by 美咲 and さすけ. Their connection dated back to around 2019, when さすけ provided songs for a group in which 美咲 was a member, and in 2022, 美咲 also appeared as a featured vocalist on もの憂げ's song 「ごみ」. In its early period, the group handled its own music videos, goods design, live booking, and recording. In November 2024, it won the ツタロックDIG LIVE オーディション grand prize. On September 19, 2025, it held its first one-man live, 「ふたりよがり」, at 渋谷eggman. There, it announced a move to ソニー・ミュージックレーベルズ and a second one-man show, 「終わりと始まり」, at Spotify O-WEST. On March 4, 2026, MEminor announced its major debut and the official addition of わたさん on guitar and 葵 on drums, expanding the lineup beyond founders 美咲 and さすけ into a four-piece band. On May 13, 2026, it released the EP 『部屋とガラクタと私』 and made its major-label debut on gr8!records. In 2026, coverage around 『部屋とガラクタと私』 and the battle-of-bands tour 『紀元前』 featured 美咲 discussing songs such as 「君の言う通りだった」 and the importance of the people who support her work. さすけ spoke about writing only the songs he truly wants to make and about finding listeners who connect with that approach. The band also performed "Heya to Garakuta to Watashi" as the ED of "Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi" and "Habataki" as the ED of "Uchi no Otouto domo ga Sumimasen".
