MAGIC OF LiFE

MAGIC OF LiFE is a Japanese rock band from Tochigi Prefecture that formed on October 17, 2014, when the group renamed itself from DIRTY OLD MEN. The band is best known to anime fans for "Yowamushi na Honoo," the second opening theme for the first season of Yowamushi Pedal, which appeared a few months before the name change and helped introduce the group to a wider audience. Under the MAGIC OF LiFE name, the band has continued as a four-member act associated with energetic, band-driven rock performance. The current lineup listed for the group is Takatsuto Nobuyuki (高津戸 信幸), Yamashita Takumi (山下 拓実), Watanabe Yuuji (渡辺 雄司), and Okada Shoutarou (岡田 翔太朗). Former members include Yamada Masamitsu (山田 真光) and Notaki Shinichi (野瀧 真一). The band is linked with Universal Music LLC, and its official site is http://magicoflife.jp/. The earlier DIRTY OLD MEN era remains an important part of the group’s history, with http://dirtyoldmen.jp/ preserved as a reference point.
