Biography

m-flo is a Japanese music group active since 1997 and formed in 1998 by Verbal, Taku Takahashi, and Lisa. Its music blends pop, hip hop, R&B, and electronic production. The project became known for a collaborative format built around guest vocalists, and has released music through Rhythm Zone. After Lisa's departure in 2002, Verbal and Taku Takahashi continued m-flo as a duo. Collaboration remained central to its work, across releases that ranged from dance-oriented tracks to more melody-focused songs. In anime, m-flo performed "against the gods", the ending theme for Black Clover.
