Loren & MASH is a Japanese music group known for performing "Thanatos -If I Can't Be Yours-", the ED of "Neon Genesis Evangelion". The song was also used as the ending theme of Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion. The act also performed numerous tracks on Evangelion-related albums and on compilations associated with composer Shiro Sagisu.
Loren, the group's vocalist, is a British soul singer who was active mainly in the United Kingdom from 1995 to 2001 and released at least two solo albums. MASH released the albums Black Beauty in 1996 and Touched in 1999. The identity behind MASH remains unknown, and the name may refer to a collective rather than a single person.
