Koyuki Hinashi

Koyuki Hinashi is a Japanese stage actor and writer whose public profile grew out of her work in the Takarazuka Revue. From there, her career expanded into writing and broader performance-related activity. Her background is shaped by stage experience and literary work, and her association with the Takarazuka Revue remains central to how she is known. In anime music, she performed "Yukihanabi (雪花火)", the ED of "Fuuka". In 2012, Hinashi and Hiroko Masuhara held a wedding ceremony at Tokyo Disneyland, becoming the first same-sex couple to do so at the resort. Although the marriage was not legally recognized, the ceremony attracted attention because of its visibility and because of the public conversation it helped open around same-sex couples in Japan.
