Kishou Taniyama (谷山紀章; born 1975-08-11 in Ube, Yamaguchi, Japan) is a Japanese voice actor, singer, and lyricist affiliated with Ken Production. Active since 1995, he is also known by the nickname Kiiyan.
After graduating from 山口県立宇部中央高等学校, he moved to Tokyo in 1994 and studied at 代々木アニメーション学院. He made his voice-acting debut in 1995 as a soldier in 『銀河英雄伝説』, and his career has since continued across both cast and theme-song credits. He is also the official Japanese dubbing voice for Fred Jones in the Scooby-Doo franchise.
In music, he is best known as the vocalist and lyric writer of the rock unit GRANRODEO, where he performs under the name KISHOW. His music work has been released through Lantis, and GRANRODEO's official website is http://www.granrodeo.net/. With GRANRODEO he held a solo concert at Nippon Budokan on 2010-05-03, the first by a male voice actor.
His anime music work includes "Hangeki no Daichi (反撃の大地)", the ED of "Shingeki no Kyojin". In 2012 he received the Singing Award at the 6th Seiyu Awards as a member of ST☆RISH from "Uta no Prince-sama", whose songs include the OP "Maji LOVE 1000% (マジLOVE1000％)".
