Known for her soft and girly voice, Kano is a rising singer who typically uploads covers of Vocaloid and anime songs online. She is said to be around 140 cm (4 ft 7 in) tall.
Although she is most recognized for her singing, Kano recently debuted as a Vocaloid producer with the song "Toumei Ningen no Nihilism." Occasionally, she also works on PVs for Vocaloid songs, as seen in mato's song "hollow" and her cover of Kemu's "Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari."
Her first cover was an 8-bit arrangement of "Ren'ai Circulation," one of the openings from the anime Bakemonogatari, which was uploaded on 01/06/2010. Her most famous cover is "Hello / How Are You," which topped Nico Nico Douga's rankings for one week. In total, her videos have garnered over ten million views.
Her first doujin album, Bambino, was released on 01/16/2011 and featured Vocaloid songs. She has since released six more albums to date, with the most recent debuting at Comic Market 87. While these are all solo projects, she has also participated in EXIT TUNES' Kami Kyoku wo Utattemita series and several PolyphonicBranch albums.
In 2015, she signed with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and made her major debut by singing "Stella-rium," the opening theme for the TV anime Houkago no Pleiades.
Kano is illustrated by Mizu Tamago (水玉子).
