Junjou no Afilia

Junjou no Afilia is a Japanese female idol group formed on November 22, 2008 and associated with the wider Afilia project. Drawn from the Afilia Group café and restaurant project, it was jointly produced by Chiyomaru Shikura and Haruko Momoi. The group debuted as Afilia Saga East, was renamed Afilia Saga in 2013, and adopted the name Junjou no Afilia in 2017. Rather than maintaining a fixed lineup, its membership has used an academy-style admission and graduation system, beginning with cast members from Tokyo locations and later expanding to Osaka Umeda and Nagoya. In anime music, Junjou no Afilia is especially remembered for "Embrace Blade," the opening theme for Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai. That song helped bring Junjou no Afilia wider attention among international anime-music audiences. The group has also performed songs for Hyperdimension Neptunia, Isuca, Hajimete no Gal, and Itai no wa Iya nanode Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. In July 2026, the group announced a new member audition.
