Good Coming

Good Coming（グッドカミング）は、桐明孝旨 and 原口知之による Japanese J-pop music unit. Active since 2011, the group moved its base from Fukuoka to Tokyo that year and began activities under the Good Coming name. Their music is rooted in J-pop, with bright melodies, clear vocal lines, and direct songwriting. Before its major-label debut, Good Coming drew attention through four limited-time free rental CDs distributed by TSUTAYA, which recorded 150,000 rentals. The group then signed with Sony Music, and the song “LifeCase” was used in the film “Paradise Kiss.” Good Coming made its major debut on February 29, 2012 with the double A-side single “仲間／桜、咲き誇れ.” The release included “Nakama (仲間),” the ending theme of “Gintama,” and reached No. 23 on the Oricon chart. At the time of the debut, the members were also appointed goodwill ambassadors for Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture. The group followed with “明日に／Stay with me” and “君想う唄／ours〜ボクらの足跡〜,” then released the albums “Good Coming One” in 2013 and “NoTuned” in 2015. In 2014, 金井田健太, who had handled DJ, keyboards, and bass, left the group. The unit later held its first one-man tour in Tokyo and Fukuoka, followed by the January 2016 tour “あがっていかんの!エブリワン”.
