GENIC is a Japanese mixed dance and vocal group formed in 2019. The group made its major debut on May 27, 2020, with the album "GENEX". It is part of Avex Management and is signed to the avex trax label.
The project began through "a-genic PROJECT," a new dance and vocal group development initiative that inherited Avex's DNA. GENIC was formed after the activities of the limited-time survival unit that took place in the summer of 2019. Its lineup is made up of Atsuki Mashiko (増子 敦貴) in red, Joe Nishizawa (西澤 呈) in green, Kakeru Amemiya (雨宮 翔) in blue, Maiki Nishimoto (西本 茉生) in yellow as leader, Maria Kaneya (金谷 鞠杏) in pink, Ryuuki Koike (小池竜暉) in orange, and Yurari Ui (宇井優良梨) in purple.
