Fairouz Ai is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Mausu Promotion. Born on July 6, 1993, in Tokyo, she is the daughter of a Japanese mother and an Egyptian father. She was named after the Lebanese singer Fairuz and spent part of her early elementary education in Cairo before returning to Japan.
During junior high school, Fairouz Ai became familiar with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, an interest that helped spark her decision to pursue voice acting. Although her parents initially disapproved of her career plans, she studied at a graphic design vocational school and later worked for a year as a dental assistant before saving enough money for voice acting training.
She made her anime debut in 2019 as Hibiki Sakura, the protagonist of How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, a role that helped introduce her to a wider audience. Since then, she has built a career in anime with energetic performances and distinctive character work. In June 2026, she was announced as part of the additional cast for the TV anime 世界最強の魔女、始めました, appearing alongside Honoka Inoue. That same month, she also spoke in an interview about learning of a Re:Zero appearance through a social media comment, adding another notable behind-the-scenes detail to her profile as a contemporary seiyuu.
