Cinema Staff is a Japanese rock band from Nagoya, formed in 2003. The group consists of Mizuki Iida, Yohei Kuno, and Sohei Mishima, and their music blends alternative rock, indie rock, and j-rock into a sound that fits both live stages and anime themes. Cinema Staff gained wider attention in anime music through songs such as “Kaze wa Fuiteiru,” the opening theme for Haikyuu!!, and “Kimi no Uta,” featured in The Heroic Legend of Arslan.
The band’s style is built on catchy melodies, driving guitar work, and an emotional edge that helps its songs stand out in anime contexts. Cinema Staff has also received Japan Gold Disc Award nominations and released several albums, with PANDORA as a notable highlight.
