Chiaki Omigawa

Chiaki Omigawa is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kanagawa Prefecture, born on November 11, 1989. She is known among anime fans for an expressive, youthful delivery that fits characters with energy, warmth, and emotional clarity, and her work has made her a familiar name in seiyuu performance and anime music. She is especially recognized for portraying Maka Albarn in Soul Eater and Yuno in Hidamari Sketch, two roles that helped define her public profile and connect her with a broad anime audience. Beyond those signature performances, Omigawa has worked across television anime, game-related projects, drama CDs, and character songs. That range reflects the close relationship between anime voice acting and anison culture, where a strong vocal identity can matter as much as acting ability. As a singer, she adds another layer to that crossover appeal, and her career has been shaped by the way memorable characters and musical expression often support one another.
