Chio's School Road

Chio's School Road follows Chio Miyamo, a first-year student at Samejima Private Academy whose mornings rarely go according to plan. After spending long nights buried in video games, she is constantly racing the clock and improvising new routes just to make it to class on time. What should be a simple walk to school quickly turns into a gauntlet of blocked streets, overzealous kabaddi players, suspicious alleyways, and even bewildered motorcycle gang leaders, all while Chio tries to avoid the academy's harsh penalties for tardiness. What gives Chio's School Road its charm is the contrast between its ordinary school commute and Chio's outsized imagination. In her mind, the alias of the legendary assassin Bloody Butterfly is not just a joke but a badge of confidence, shaped by countless hours spent chasing victories in games rather than attending class. By her side are her best friends Manana Nonomura and Yuki Hosokawa, whose reactions turn every detour into a fast-paced comedy of escalating mishaps, awkward encounters, and wildly improvised problem-solving.
