Biography

Centimillimental is the solo project of Atsushi, a Japanese musician who writes the lyrics, composes and arranges the music, sings, and performs both piano and guitar. The project is built around his hands-on approach to songwriting and performance, making Centimillimental a name associated with a very personal and self-contained style of music production. The project began in 2012 as a four-member band under the same name. Atsushi later launched the solo project "Hey, don't forget" in 2015, continuing to develop his work as a singer-songwriter while building a more individual identity around the Centimillimental name. That early period established the foundation for the artist's later solo output. In 2015, Atsushi won the Grand Prix at Inazuma Gate, supported by Epic Records Japan. In 2018, he merged "Hey, don't forget" into Centimillimental, turning it into the solo act recognized today. This transition marked an important step in the evolution of Centimillimental from a band-based project into a clearly defined solo artist profile. Centimillimental is also closely associated with anime music through Given. He performed the opening theme for the series and also worked on the lyrics and composition of the rest of the songs used in the anime. That connection has made Centimillimental especially relevant for listeners searching for Centimillimental songs, Centimillimental anime music, and the artist's opening theme work.
