Captain Straydum is a pop-rock band that formed in 1999 and later signed onto the Sony Record label. Their songs have a strong 70's rock sound with a modern indie pop-rock edge, and have been used in several different anime, including Gintama and Naruto. Over the years, Captain Straydum has gained a significant amount of popularity in Japan but they have yet to gain a large following elsewhere.
