BREIMEN is a Japanese five-member band formed in 2015 around 高木祥太. The group began as 無礼メン and adopted the name BREIMEN in 2018, when its current lineup of 田中航, ジョージ林, Katsushiro Sato, 高木祥太, and So Kanno was established. Rooted in black music, the band works across funk, rock, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and pop; after the original vocalist left, 高木祥太 moved from bass to vocals. Its members have also worked as support and session musicians.
BREIMEN released the first album "TITY" in February 2020 and the second album "Play time isn't over" in May 2021. In 2022, "Play time isn't over" received the Special Prize at ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's "APPLE VINEGAR - Music Award -"; that year 高木祥太 wrote and composed "MELODY（prod. by BREIMEN）" by 岡野昭仁 and 井口理, while BREIMEN arranged and performed the track, and the band released the third album "FICTION" in July. The album "AVEANTIN" followed in April 2024 and marked BREIMEN's major debut on Ariola Japan. In anime, the band performed "Rolling Stone" for Dr. Stone, used as the ending song for Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE in 2025, and "Funky Spice (ファンキースパイス) feat. TOMOO" for High School! Kimengumi in 2026.
