Biography

BRADIO (ブラディオ) is a Japanese male rock band formed in 2010. The group’s name is abbreviated from “Break the Rule And Do Image On,” and its sound blends funk rock and j-rock with a direct, performance-driven approach. Based in Japan, BRADIO has also been associated with an indie-label background and Warner Music Japan. The core lineup features Shingyouji Takaaki on lead vocals, Ooyama Souichi on vocals and guitar, and Sakai Ryousuke on vocals and bass. This three-member setup gives BRADIO a tight instrumental balance and keeps the focus on the interplay between vocals, guitar, and rhythm section. Before the current lineup was established, Tanabe Yuuki handled vocals and drums until leaving in January 2018, a key moment in the band’s history that preserved its name and identity.
