Base Ball Bear

Base Ball Bear is a Japanese rock band formed by four students of Tokai University Urayasu High School in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture; it counts its first show, at the school festival on 11 November 2001, as its founding date. The band made its major debut with Toshiba EMI in April 2006 with the mini-album "GIRL FRIEND". It has been a trio since guitarist Shōhei Yuasa left in March 2016: Yūsuke Koide (vocals, guitar), Shiori Sekine (bass, backing vocals) and Daisuke Horinouchi (drums, backing vocals). In November 2018 it moved from Universal Music to JVCKenwood Victor Entertainment, where it launched its own label, DGP RECORDS. Its 2009 single "Stairway Generation" was the seventh opening of Gintama (episodes 151 to 176), and "Dramatic" opened the first season of Big Windup!.
