Biography

ASCA (born September 5, 1996) is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Aichi Prefecture signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Since debuting in the mid-2010s, she has worked across J-pop and anime music, with songs built on strong melodic hooks, dramatic arrangements, emotionally direct vocals, pop structures with rock-leaning energy, tense verses, and powerful choruses. Her anime work includes both openings and endings. She performed "Prime number ~Kimi to Deaeru Hi~ (Prime number~君と出会える日~)" for "Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo". For "Fate/Zero", she sang "KOE" and "Hibari (雲雀)". For "Grancrest Senki", she performed both "Rin (凛)" and "PLEDGE". She also performed "Shion no Hanataba wo (紫苑の花束を)" for "Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei" and "Cusp" for "Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu". In 2025, she shared two music videos from her album 28. In 2026, she continued that run with the ending song music video for Bye Bye, Earth Season 2, the opening song music video for The Classroom of the Black Cat and a Witch, and the ending song music video for Dragon Raja II -The Mourner's Eyes-.
