Akihito Okano (岡野昭仁), born on 15 October 1974 in Innoshima, Japan, is a Japanese singer and songwriter best known as the vocalist of Porno Graffiti, one of the most recognizable rock acts to emerge from Japan in the late 1990s and 2000s. Signed to SME Records, he helped shape the band’s melodic, high-energy sound, which blends rock, pop, and hook-driven songwriting with clear vocals and emotional intensity.
