AAA (Attack All Around) is a Japanese J-pop group formed in September 2005 by Avex Trax. Debuting as an eight-member super performance unit, AAA became known for combining main vocals, rap, and performance-driven staging, which gave the group a distinctive identity within Japanese pop. The group has been on indefinite hiatus since 2020.
The core lineup includes Takahiro "Nissy" Nishijima (orange) as main vocal, Misako Uno (purple) as main vocal, Mitsuhiro Hidaka (yellow) on rap, Shinjiro Atae (blue), and Shuta Sueyoshi (black → pink). Together, these members shaped the group's public image and helped define its flexible, stage-oriented sound.
AAA originally also included Yukari Goto (pink), who left the group on June 11, 2007, and Chiaki Ito (red), who left on March 31, 2017. Their departures marked important changes in the group's lineup and reflected the long evolution of AAA from its larger debut-era formation into its later five-member configuration.
Naoya Urata (green), the leader and main vocal, left the group in December 2019 after ceasing activity in 2019. Even with those changes, AAA remained associated with large-scale performance, multiple vocal roles, and a concept built around versatility across singing, rap, and choreography.
