10-FEET

10-FEET is a Japanese rock band from Kyoto, formed in 1997. The trio consists of TAKUMA on vocals and guitar, NAOKI on bass and vocals, and KOUICHI on drums and chorus. Signed to Universal Music LLC, 10-FEET are known for a sound that moves between alternative rock and heavier influences while also drawing on punk rock, melodic hardcore, reggae, hip-hop, bossa nova, and heavy metal. Their songs are marked by direct, emotionally resonant lyrics, fast-moving arrangements, and the kind of live energy that has kept them a fixture in Japan’s rock scene for decades. 10-FEET have also become an important name for anime fans. Their best-known anime-related contribution is 'Daikaiten' from The First Slam Dunk, and they have also supplied numerous songs to anime series, making them a regular search result for listeners looking for anime openings and anime songs. Outside anime, the band organizes the annual Kyoto Daisakusen festival, reinforcing its ties to the local music community and its support for emerging talent. Recent activity has included theme-song work tied to the Golden Kamuy: Abashiri Prison Arc live-action film, showing that 10-FEET remain active across both rock and anime-adjacent projects.
